1. Reservations
All room reservations at Hotel Moana require a valid credit or debit card at the time of booking. A pre-authorization of the first night's room rate plus a $250 incidental hold will be placed on your card upon check-in. Reservations are considered confirmed only upon receipt of a booking confirmation email from Hotel Moana.
2. Check-in & Check-out
Standard check-in time is 3:00 PM. Standard check-out time is 12:00 PM (noon). Early check-in and late check-out may be requested and are subject to availability. Additional charges may apply. Guests are required to present a government-issued photo ID at check-in.
3. Cancellation Policy
Standard Rates:Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the scheduled arrival date will receive a full refund. Cancellations within 48 hours of arrival, or no-shows, will be charged one night's room rate.
Non-Refundable Rates: Reservations booked at non-refundable promotional rates are not eligible for refunds or modifications after booking.
Peak & Holiday Periods: Different cancellation terms may apply during peak season, holidays, and special events. These are specified at the time of booking.
4. Room Rates & Charges
Published room rates are per room, per night, and do not include applicable Hawaii state and local taxes (currently 18.96%), a daily resort fee of $45 (which includes poolside towel service, in-room WiFi, daily yoga class, and local phone calls), and parking fees where applicable.
5. Pet Policy
Hotel Moana is a pet-free property with the exception of certified service animals as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Guests requiring assistance animal accommodation should notify the hotel at the time of reservation.
6. Smoking Policy
Hotel Moana is a 100% non-smoking property. Smoking is prohibited in all guest rooms, corridors, restaurants, the spa, and on hotel balconies. A deep-cleaning fee of $350 will be charged to guests found to have smoked in a non-smoking area.
7. Damage & Liability
Guests are responsible for any damage caused to hotel property during their stay. Hotel Moana reserves the right to charge the credit card on file for any such damage. The hotel is not responsible for loss of or damage to personal property of guests during their stay, including vehicles in the hotel car park.
8. Guest Conduct
Hotel Moana reserves the right to refuse service or remove any guest whose conduct is deemed disruptive, threatening, or disrespectful to other guests or staff. Quiet hours are observed from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. The hotel's pool and beach access areas are reserved exclusively for registered guests.
9. Force Majeure
Hotel Moana shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, government orders, pandemics, or civil unrest. In such events, the hotel will work in good faith to accommodate affected reservations.
10. Governing Law
These Terms of Stay are governed by the laws of the State of Hawaii, United States of America. Any disputes arising from a guest's stay shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Honolulu, Hawaii.
